Hometown (sighs)

So. I'll be going back to hometown (like fuck, not again?) to pray to grandpa. Sighs.

Apparently we have to pray to the deceased on their funeral, on their first week of death (7), on their third week of death which is tomorrow (21), on their seventh week of death (49) and on their 100th day of death. Phew... Oh and every year on ching ming.

Last year 2006 was supposed to be my first ching ming ever as granny passed away on 2005. Quite good to be able to escape ching ming till now, one of the perks of having long-lifed grandparents.

So yeah. I'll be going back to hometown. For the fifth time in less than 2 months. Don't i just love these visits?

Lovers tend to give and take in a relationship. And that comes in many forms.

Thus, is it the material wealth or the love feeling that makes you happy? Is it better to give than to take or otherwise?

Holidays

I slept at 5 something a.m. today. Whoo!

I woke up at 5.20 p.m. today. Whee!

I just love holidays, during which i can sleep and wake up at the most unearthly of hours! And that, is what i call holidays.

I am going to plug in my PS and resume FFXII. Ha!

Scream

I scream for ice-cream!!

Nyahaha. Baskin Robbins. They only come in these funny wrappers. No plastic bags, you know, what with all the environmental-friendliness kick these days.

Woo! Foggy dry ice. Many months ago when i bought ice cream, the Baskin Robbins fellers just chucked in liberal amounts of dry ice, and i was really happy. D'you know if u put a piece on the floor, it'll vibrate. Sure i suppose it can be explained by some complex physics theory but who cares?

Lately, i guess management has discovered that their employees' generous dispensing of dry ice has resulted in high costs! So the fellers now ask the customers the length of their journey and pour in dry ice accordingly. And my journey from 1 utama to my home normally takes 5 mins, but i say 1 hour anyway.

Whee. My half gallon! Fabulous. My leg got scalded by a piece of dry ice when i took this out. Sighs.

The feller said i could choose 4 flavours! So: Pistachio Almond, Jamoca Almond Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip and Very Berry Strawberry. Normally i would take pistachio almond, j.a.f. and macadamia nut but mum's birthday cake was already macadamia nut so... I settled with Mint Chocolate Chip and V.B.S., which was not as good as Haagen Dazs Strawberry.
