Eragon

Went to watch Eragon today. And despite all the hype about it, the movie turned out to be just so-so. Not great.

The movie has a little bit of everything, but just not enough. There was little (close to none) humour used in the movie apart from "expected you to be more..... well, more". All the action and fighting in the movie was just sad, few slashes here, a burst of magic there, nothing much. The war featured in the movie was sad too, coz the dragon just spat some fire and whoosh, that's it. And the most annoying part is.. No romance. Am not a fan of lovey dovey scenes lah.. But the only thing the main character kissed was his dragon's scaly snout. According to the book, there was some sorta chemistry between the elf-Arwen-lookalike and Eragon. But the most intimate scene they had was her wearing his armor for him. That's wrong!! Urgh!!

Ok lah. The movie might be nice to some people, but it's hard not to be biased coz my Eragon movie experience was terrible. Y'see. I was sharing a cinema with some fucked-up idiots. One of them was sitting behind me. Every 2-3 minutes or so, he would give one large exclamation of "HAH!" Not "huh", not "hah!", but "HAH!" When he first did it, i thought he was clearing his throat or something. Then it happened again. And again. And again throughout the movie. And each time he did it, i lost concentration on the movie. I was trying hard to turn around and ask him to shut the fuck up. Didn't know what he was doing la. Crazy fella. In addition to the HAH!-ing asshole, there was a row of giggling girls sitting on my right. Giggle giggle. Giggle. Man! And there was no romantic scenes in the movie for them to giggle at! What the hell? Giggle? Wanted to slap them one by one. *Slap* 'Ow!' 'Giggle somemore la, u whore!'

So. To hell with people who spoil my movies!! May they rot there like a heap of flesh!!

Y'know.. Sometimes it feels good to bitch about hateful people.

Now i feel good. Good enough to continue about the HAH guy. Apparently Cow stuck around after the movie to have a good look at HAH. So when we went bowling after that, Cow pointed out that HAH was bowling too. And the five of us joked about going near him and yelling HAH everytime he bowled. LoL!

p.s. Bowling sucked. I lost terribly to the bunch of chattering aunties on the next lane, all of whom, had more than 110+ total scores. X(

p.p.s. Finally got myself arsed up enough to play Final Fantasy 12. After a few hours of gruelling training, i managed to increase Balthier's, Fran's and Ashe's levels by 2 to 28! Whee. What a huge achievement huh? =)
