I guess i can say education, like every-bloody-thing else, has succumbed to the deathly clutches of commercialism.
Bleargh. In addition to the RM10k+ i submitted to them blood-suckers on Friday, i (my dad, rather) now need to fork out more cash to buy my textbooks. Pricey, shiny-covered textbooks. Textbooks that cost hundreds of dollars.
Some of my tutors subtly hinted that we can get our textbooks photocopied. Ha! Good thing we're in Malaysia. Malaysia boleh. Apa pun boleh.
