Went swimming with Yz the Brown Bear just now. Last time i swam was like 2 or 3 years ago, which was why i spent quite some time hurricaning through cupboards and drawers in search of my elusive goggles.
Swimming is a fantastic form of exercise! You don't feel freakin' hot and sweaty like some abused beast of burden, perspiring their asses off in paddy fields. No. The cool water takes all the heat away. Much like cycling. As i paddle down a slope, the rushing wind feels great. No sweat! (though of course, i would want to avoid cycling now that i have outgrown my bike. i don't want any broken balls *shudder*)
Argh. Downside to swimming is that it really ruins my hair. My hair is dry enough as it is! And after much chlorine-soaking today, i now have a wig of dry grass/paddy. Hmm. Ah well. Did 12 laps today, to and fro. Had to stop in between laps as i have limited stamina.
My legs are kinda aching. Went jogging + cycling + striding-machining at the gym yesterday. Wanted to try this stair-climbing machine but tak jadi. Aching.
Off to sleep now. Have to go to gym later. =)
