Kysha has appointed me as her campaign manager, so personally this is my first attempt as a leader to an event. Through this 2 weeks i have been to several meetings about election and i have to say that all Public University in Malaysia follow exactly the same standard rules as real SPR along the election. It has been really stressing as i have to attend those meeting alone, for hour n hours n all the details about it is strictly confidential even the location of the meeting itself. We do not allowed to use hp & bring camera. The main reason of this secretism is to avoid the mainstream party in the goverment to involved in university election. *Calon MPP semua mmg berpotensi & berbakat besar untuk berpolitik so byk anasir luar yg cube tuk influenced mereka pada waktu ini. As the CM i am fully dedicated & responsible to my candidate. Ade kes candidate kne culik, sabotaj n etc. Sounds funny, but its true. Thank god nothing happen to my candidate. Other than that im fully responsible to promote her. Poster, public speaking, campaign from class to class, n even through social network. In this opportunity i would like to thank every single people who have vote Kysha Zulkapri. The 597 ppl of you, thank you very much. And last but not least for my dedicated team, a pool of thanks for making things happen!

Horror

Gah. Took my car to meet the mechanic (body parts) and he kept speaking to me in Cantonese. Faint! Y'see, previously my Cantonese was only limited to "turn left", "turn right" and "go straight" (to give directions to cabbies, but i used those anyway coz the mechanic sent me home).

But i've been watching some Canto-dramas recently so i picked up on some pro-ness. :D

Murni Discovery

So i "discovered" Murni's newest branch at SunwayMas!

Gahhhh. Hideously blur picture that i hurriedly snapped out of the moving car.

But you can see la, hor... It has a much cleaner interior, but the tables expand outward as usual. Unlike the HQ in SS2, Murni Discovery is a corner lot, which means TWO freakin' streets for the tables to mushroom out. Heck it can even take up the whole place.

Nasi Goreng Ayam Pandan. This is the dish that spurred me to go visit Murni Discovery. I'm a huge fan of pandan chicken.

The fried rice is those sort of Chinese-style fried rice, which wasn't half bad but common. Would've liked it to be Tom Yam fried rice though. The thigh-drumstick was quite tasty, the skin crisp with a slightly sweet aroma of pandan. I think the chicken is too large for it to be thoroughly marinated, but it's a fantastic deal at RM7/plate.

YZ's nasi lemak with chicken rendang. It came emanating white cartoon swirls of rendang smell... Wtf and it was awesome... I didn't really take a bite as i was preoccupied with my chicken (stupid leaf strangely difficult to unwrap) but the smell itself told me that it was mighty delicious. 6 bucks per plate.

I would still choose my pandan chicken. :D

Lavender Special. Its name baffles me. Why lavender? No lavender inside. No lavender taste also... Speechless. It is soda + lemon + mint leaves (topped with longan and nata de coco).

Which is pretty much a virgin Mojito. Faux-jito, more like. Should have named it Faux-jito, right? Lavender.... -_-"

I like this picture. It looks somewhat adorable... Hot honey lemon (somebody sick cannot drink cold stuff nyahahaha!!).

They gave us the bill! I guess Murni Discovery is their legit outlet with actual income declaration. Coz i'm pretty sure the SS2 Murni has no way of actually tracking their income. Not that they need to pay income tax also. Honestly i can't really gauge whether they make RM3mil a year or not...

But to hell with all of that. As long as it sticks around and provides good food, i'm all for it.

The cure to a bout of chest-heaving, head-spinning cold + cough combo IS

3 hours of basketball.

Well.. Actually... flu meds + cough syrup (cough syrup manufacturers should stop describing the flavour as "delicious". grotesque as ever).

BUT! But!

You know that sickly groggy feeling while you're halfway recovering and your nose is completely blocked by unending supplies of goo and throat all scratchy and irritated by phlegm?

3 hours of basketball. The cure, baybeh. I think it's all the running. I can breathe properly now (first 30 minutes was hell. was immediately out of breath).

Terms and conditions apply la.. Must be at least recovering la. Takkan go play sports when you're having fever. xD

Calo

Gah. Am feeling very much under the weather. It first started out as sorethroat, and then evolved into a cold and a sickening cough. It's those irritating singular coughs, which is not as bad as a violent throat-tearing coughing fit, but it gets to you after a while, especially if coupled with a constantly streaming nose...

Anyway.. Am almost recovered. Have got wads and wads of incredibly viscous mucus / phlegm caught in my nose / throat. Pesky, but at least some indication that i'm recovering.

Sigh.

I think i am destined to fail at any attempts to lose weight / become fit like rock golem or similar.

Sigh. I guess i have no one but myself to blame. Lack of discipline... My greatest weakness.

THEN AGAIN, right. Sometimes it cannot be helped! Each time, when the blue moons came, and i was suddenly all pumped up with this steel resolve to exercise like crazy, something would happen to send my plans crashing into oblivion.

Like, right now. I've lost 2-3kgs! Not bad, right? Been going to the gym. But cough and sorethroat and cold came along and disrupted my plans. Oh and not to mention the horrendous backache...

Must persevere!

I love the new range of treadmills and striders that arrived in the gym approx. a month ago.

In addition to having individual TV screens attached, it has iPod and USB support.

And since mine's an iPod video, all videos (i've only got 1 video... fucking iTunes wiped out my library) inside can be played on the TV screens. And since i discovered that i could jog longer if i'm distracted, watching a 45 min video while jogging means 45 mins of jogging! Fantastic.

Maybe i'll load them into my pendrive.

My results. Mediocre, yes. But 30 mins, baby! Such an achievement.

On the strider, this time.

More calories burnt on the strider, but it doesn't really train stamina...

Still... 274-374 calories... Frickin McDonald's burger has 500+ calories. + fries... Major disaster. Will need to jog an hour to burn 1 McValue Meal.

Random #10

Wisdom

Hurrah. Will be going to the dentist tomorrow to remove my stitches. Yes stitches, hideous, pesky things.

Last Sunday i went to have my lower left wisdom tooth removed as it was
a) growing and pushing my teeth all crooked and
b) partially obscured by my gums, and had become infected as i couldn't brush it properly

Sparkly sterile dental equipments. Had some time to snap some pics while waiting for the anaesthetics to kick in.

This was the one that bugged me a lil' bit. Sigh. Stitches. I can never be rid of them, can I?

Anyway, unlike righty (grew in a sideways angle. needed to be sliced into half, wrenched upright AND THEN pulled out), lefty was immensely kind, as it chose to grow straight out, like all teeth should. So the whole ordeal was over before i even knew it.

Dr Lee is a somewhat rough dentist. But extremely precise, and fast. Although i felt like my jaw was majorly bruised afterwards, the wisdom tooth came out in like 2-3 minutes, which was heaven compared to my last surgery that lasted... forever.

Cheese
Thumbs up to the Pizza Hut fellers who came up with such an orgasmic idea.

The "Dip-alicious" .. Whatever it's called. It was frickin divine, like swimming in cheese heaven.

Y'see. I've always hated Pizza Hut's oily, chewy and dry pizza crust. Not crispy at all. I used to cut them out to be chucked out to the stray cats / birds, be recycled as toasted garlic bread or whatever. Then they came up with the stuffed crust (cheese / sausages), which was kinda so so laaaa, coz the crust remained oily.

omg but now. Dip-alicious, baby. It's my dream come true. I hate crusts, and they're changed into these bite-sized, cheese-pumped morsels. Plus! They sprinkle corn flakes on them for that extra crunch (ok some of them not properly baked and turned out stale-ish).

And then the piece de resistance! The cheese dip.

Doesn't it look marvellous? Cheesy Jalapeno Dip. Ridiculous name!! It's exactly like the cheese on KFC's cheesy wedges. But hell it's good. Frickin genius! i was furiously dipping the little cornflake coated pieces in the cheese. Infinitely satisfying, especially if you're on cheese craze.

So if you happen to pop by Pizza Hut, don't miss this.

Next, a completely different dish. Cheese crab. More cheese gravy which i mopped up using those Chinese golden bread. Heavenly... Didn't touch the crab though.

Along with the crab came this little tool that caught my eye. Omniknight's hammer! ;) Wham!

Geez i wouldn't want my fingers to be underneath it when it comes smashing down.

Through the years we have been taken lots and lotsa pictures together but i have to admit that this pix is my all time fav. This pix was taken when we're in form 4. Vely innocent look aite, berbaju kurung skola lg. Talking bout ely, i just can say that i love her to death! She's always there and i bet she knew every single thing about me. Try her! Ely currently studying economics in UIA and secretly doin part time job in a coffee shop on weekends. Ssshh dun tell her parents! This beautiful girl here is a good friend of mine since we are 8 and still counting. I could write a book solely about our friendship. We grown up together, & if u tink high school is tough she is the one that i has been go through ups & down with through the years. First love, 1st kiss, 1st date, 1st ponteng, 1st party, 1st cig, 1st gamb, 1st clubg etc. To make it short we do all the teenage stuff together. Until today we still hang out & catch up things cume ta se-jahiliah dlu la.. Insap sket larh skrg nih..There is no secret between us, fo sure. She is currently doing practical after 3 yrs in UNITEN in order to becoming a successful acountant in the future. Simulation asaimen acc ak dlu die larh yg buatkan! *evil laugh

Kalo uols na tau, sepanjang high skool selama 5yrs itu, dis is the girl dat i have been spending my recess time with. She might look chubby but sgt food conscious okay. Diet ta hengat! I get along wif her parents very well kiranya bole kate during old days setiap ari muka aku jela yg menyibuk kat uma die. Although i have been travel all around the world, ceh mcm byk negara sgt je ko pg kan. Hols at Genting wif her is the most fuggin AWESOME trip i have been with! seyes taley lupe, byk kenangan. She's currently further her studies to another level of bachelor degree at UNISEL in accounting.

The only besties yg berjaya menjadi artis! Haha wpun suam-suam kuku jd extra, kira okelah kan.. Aimi here is vely pretty i tell u! She has been a model for quite number of label since we're in high school. She's in a relationship with a famous tv personality semasa kami masih di bangku skola lg, becinta ngan org femes ni mmg fuhhh tgk die je ak tros jd tobat, tu yg trus plih org kg je. After 4 years in surviving their secret r/ship they broke up due to the spreading of dat guy nastiest social pix all over the internet. Mmg mcm sial la ak ckp, pnt je ak bersekongkol ngan aimi cover her from her parents everytime die na kua ngan u all dis years but the way u treat her is fugginly bullshit!
