Some random pictures here.

139.9 calories burnt on the strider. Not to say a painstaking feat, compared to going on the treadmill. Bah. I've seen those people effortlessly knocking off 700 - 800 calories, legs pedaling zip zip zip in super efficient manner.

Pictures super blur. Can't help it. Whenever i try to slow down enough to take a clear shot, the numbers disappear only to be replaced with "Pedal Faster". Oh well.

This little bow-like device here is the source of much misery for me. Component holding up my car window. Apparently a wire somewhere sorta ruptured and instead of being straight like | it crumpled into something like 3. So many brain cells dead because of this. Blarrrdy.

Woohaha! Roti telur. Flooded with fish curry. Looks a horrible mess but that's the way i like my rotis. I'm always irritated by those skinflint waiters who give me insufficient curry and so i go straight to the curry basins and ladle them all over. :D The waiters don't really care. So i say: flood it!

Off for a catnap now, then i gotta start burying myself in books. Friday nite basketball was a pretty lukewarm affair yesterday as everyone wanted to study study study. Geeez!

Random! #3

Ooof. Just got back from Monash. Went to the library in search of books for my Media Studies assignment. After pestering Dr Yeoh for a while, i realized that i had borrowed completely irrelevant books. -_-" Also paid Dr Mootee a visit to collect a copy of my tutorial which i'd lost! -_-"

A whole pile of pics i've been keeping in my com. Been really lazy to post them. :D

Had this spur-of-the-moment late night gathering a few weeks back at SS2's KTZ with JC, Tecky, Liang and Brown Bear. KTZ is this honkie shop selling desserts and little savoury dishes. It was a freakin' busy saturday night and all the desserts had sold out save the "loh".

Tecky's red bean "loh". Now "loh"! What exactly do you call it in English? Stirring...? Spooning (obscene!)? Spooning and letting spooned contents fall back out? Wtf. Whatever.

My kiwi "loh". I don't really like these shaved ice stuff as there's nothing really special about them. The kiwi slice on top was to cover up the hole i had already dug up. LoL. The pic above, the red bean one, was also partially dug up but Tecky was a neat eater so there was a presentable side of which i could take a picture.

JC had the honeydew one. This honeydew picture was taken in June last year when i first tried the "loh".

So far i think the mango one tastes the best. I remember Ennie saying that the strawberry one was good but i have yet to try it.

I also ordered this radish cake which was mighty delicious and i kept chopsticking it into my mouth. No picture here.

Mum bought a new wardrobe for Dad so she shifted the old one into my room. Now i have 2 wardrobes which is pretty convenient as i get to hang my clothes up instead of just haphazardly chucking them into the cupboard all creased and tangled up.

My t-shirts. And my shirts. Now u can see most of my clothing are dark and gloomy. :D With a few exceptions here and there.

Pods! On my birthday Nico bin Autofelasio gave me Pods bought from Australia.
With Snickers cream. Hmm. Apparently there is another version containing Mars bar cream. Sighs. I still miss Snickers almond!! Dammit. Anyway...

What i don't get is this line, "ingeniously crunchy". Why is it ingenious? It's only a wafer biscuit shell... lidat oso ingenious ah? -_-" Still... it was crunchy and i happily crunched up all 40 of them. ;)

Sis got me this funky orby lamp for my birthday. Initially i asked for a bedside table lamp since i like to read b4 sleeping but she said the bedside table lamps were all fluorescent and fugly, so she chose this instead. Mum was disapproving coz its design collects lots of dust. Oh well. Funky funky light. :D

Random #2

Bored. So, pictures.

Small little potluck gathering at Ee May's last Sunday. Was supposed to be one of those rubbish primary school gatherings, but only a handful of people turned up (which makes it a failed gathering).

Ee May's delicious pasta, which was served as if we were in some posh restaurant, big white plate and small (yes small) clumped portion in the center. I guess she learnt these stuff from her hospitality course.

This is adorable. Watermelon and honeydew balls. S'been ages since i ate watermelons this way. Both melons provided by Hookie, the desperate gathering organizer.

Shen and i brought jellies and puddings, and i didn't get to snap any photos.

John came with a humongous container of herby egg sandwiches (for herby-vores) and they, in the pics i took, look like white bread... 0_0 So no point posting.

We also had the inescapable fried mee hoon, courtesy of Lainie.

This is mum's stash of Livita in the fridge. 0_0! I never really liked Livita. The taste is just overwhelming, poisonously sweet and eye-squintingly sour.

Does anyone know what flower this is? Mum's friend gave her this plant and it started blossoming like crazy. It's perched right outside the gate, and i snapped a picture of it.

Met up with Wingie, Danny and Joseph on Friday at 1 Utama. And being the football-crazies they were, they ended up at the UEFA cup roadshow *edit: it's... Euro 2008 Roadshow, but do i look like i care?* somewhere near Oval. -_-" Danny immediately adhered himself to the foosball table, which was no surprise as he sacrifices lectures and tutorials to play foosball.

Most fun part was when Joseph signed up to play this football in a cage thingy.. Have got the video. Lemme post it up when i have the time. :D

Anyway. Food at ShihLin Snacks is quite good, though definitely not on par with those in the actual ShihLin in Taiwan. Their Crispy Fried Chicken is marvellous. Egg & Floss Crepe is a funky and interesting option. The Oyster Vermicelli is quite all right. My mum can make a much better one. That, i'm sure. They sell some sorta seafood tempura too, but i've never tried some before just in case they contain prawn and trigger my allergy.
