Ah! Just found out that iTunes has this option using which i can control the "randomness" of the supposedly "random" shuffle feature. Got really irritated when it played the same few songs it has been playing during the weekend. Have got 'em fixed now.
Just ripped my Final Fantasy IX Original Soundtrack (original, mind you. one of the rare few. =D) into my com. Found them lying in my glass cabinet yesterday, so now am listening to Nobuo Uematsu's music. Sighs i seem to have misplaced the 2nd and 3rd discs though; i only have the first and 4th. Will have to do some ferretting for them soon.

Was Qing Ming yesterday. And guess what? I didn't go back to pay my respects to granny. Am a terrible person, i know, but i really didn't feel like traveling 5-6 brain-numbing hours through heavy waves of rain and cars back to this humid seaside village.
It just so happened that mum twisted her back one day before we were to take off, and could barely stand. Naturally she couldn't go back with us. Most wonderful part was that she told dad she wanted me to stay back with her just in case her back worsens and she needed someone to send her to the clinic.
Once dad and sis took off, i went off to play basketball and mum went off to work. LoL. Dad felt really cheated and pissed and called back to yell, scream, curse and etc. He's still in a dreadful huff with mum now.
Anyway. Sis told me they (close friends of granny and relatives including uncles, aunts, their dozen of children, their grandchildren) offered a whole roasted pig to granny, along with piles of fruits, cushion-sized paus, roasted ducks, fish and various cakes.
Brrr. Wonder how granny's supposed to receive them anyway? What if she wasn't there? I always imagined that after people died and are buried, they transform into butterflies and fly away (possibly true, coz the cemetery is filled with butterflies). So let's suppose that granny immaculately took the form of a fluttering butterfly, and went off flying somewhere, then wouldn't their extravagant offerings be wasted? Just letting my imagination run wild a bit. Dad will get into such a rage if he sees what am writing here. LoL.

They say it always rains during Qing Ming, which is v. true. Been pouring cats and dogs these few days, causing the weather to become cool and fantastic. V. good temperature for one to sleep. Been sleeping so much. Think i'll go and sleep somemore. =)
