Come, come to the Monash Ball,
Where the fat are commonplace,
Where the demented wear lace,
Make haste! Make haste!
Pick up the pace.
Join the race, the race to
The Monash Ball.
Come, come to the Monash Ball,
Don't run off to the mall.
Ladies and gents we will call.
We'll be dancing in a hall,
Chicks and fellers on the wall.
Dance, scream, slip and fall,
Right here at the Monash Ball.
Where the fat are commonplace,
Where the demented wear lace,
Make haste! Make haste!
Pick up the pace.
Join the race, the race to
The Monash Ball.

Yeah.. The Monash people will probably strangle me if they see this. Brrr.
Or worse, sue me for defamation. Must think of a disclaimer.

So, sue me not!
Anyway. If anyone who reads this decides to "go, go to the Monash Ball", it is on the 21st of September @ Mandarin Oriental KL.
I don't really get the theme though, urgh. Film Noir.
Hmm. A film characterized by low-key lighting, a bleak urban setting and corrupt, cynical characters. Some examples: Sin City, V for Vendetta (v. bleak. v. corrupt characters), most Batman movies and perhaps the starting B&W scene in Casino Royale. Brrr.
P.S. The Incredibles got rented out! Bloody bloodies. So i got Lemon Biscuit's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Hmm. Can you consider that as film noir as well?
