Devil

I want a PS3!

Final Fantasy 13 aside, this is another game that am majorly looking forward to. Devil May Cry4 !!

Just look at that! Doesn't it make you feel like playing it right away?

Lady is back with her usual short pants, this time looking somewhat masculine. Hmm.

There is also this new blonde chick, Trish. I haven't seen her in action just yet, but she looks sizzling. Tssss.

Check out the DMC4 Demo. The combos are simply ganas! Really impressive, propelling the creatures into the sky and launching into a deadly series of attacks. Starts with Deadly. Carnage. Brutal. Atomic. Smokin'. Smokin' Style. Super Smokin' Style.

Graphics are fantastic. I think Dante is spraying some fiery projectiles in multiple directions. Sexy!

From what i gathered from the demo (which is in Japanese), there are lots of different modes to play with.

This is a new feature of the game. Some sort of extremely long jump teleport ability, and is fascinatingly showcased in the demo.

Oh my god. Devil May Cry!!

I love you but good bye...

Nut!

Mwahaha. Mum gave me a pack of nuts the other day, courtesy of Wendy Bowl.

And this is how macadamia nuts look like, with their shells still intact. :) The macadamia nuts i normally consume are already shelled. Don't look all that spectacular, do they?

Ooohlala. Nuts. I like nuts. Nuts over nuts. Macadamia nuts have really round shells. They sorta look like dried up coconuts in this picture. Don't you think?

I am given this brilliant piece of metal tool, using which i am to pry open the nuts like so.

Wedge it into the crack and voila! It cracks open.

And there it is! Nestling inside its shell.

A whole crunchy, lightly salted macadamia nut. Fabulous.

Reminds me of Haagen Dazs macadamia nut / macadamia brittle. Very delicious. Go try these 2 flavours if you happen to have some spare cash.

***
By the way, am whizzing off to Genting Highlands tomorrow to get a whiff of refreshing highland air.

These are the clothes am bringing. Very blue. Should have gone on a Monday. Monday morning Blues. :D

Wtfness. Mum just sent me a SMS saying "Enjoy yr trp n tk care! Dont buy any rubbish home. Lm". Sth v. wrg w/ her short form. And what rubbish!! Hmph.

Those two black and white patterny thingies on the left pile have Badtz-Maru printed on them. Don't ask.

Argh!

Sonnuvabitch. The cats are stirring up such a racket at the back alley!

Plus i have to fetch my parents to freakin' Melaka tomorrow. One of the big disadvantages of having a driver's license (though not that bad compared to my friends who have younger siblings).

Gotta get some sleep. Nighty night.

This is me...

... because i am.

Bowl

What i crave now, beside me, is an enormous bowl with a 1 metre diameter filled with one of the following:

i) Ruffles (Texas Barbeque and Sour Cream Cheddar, original too salty) or Lays (or Chipster as they taste more or less the same) or Doritos (or Chachos as they taste more or less the same).
ii) Sushi of any variant, possibly a variety? XD
iii) Satay from Penang Mari
iv) Curly friesssssssss!!!

Oh my god. I'm suddenly in love with curly fries. Ever since McDonald's started selling their annual Prosperity Burger i've been eating them whenever i visit McDonald's. It's just marvellous! Wish they will continue selling curly fries throughout the year.

McDonald's call them twister fries. Don't think they're allowed to call them.. curly fries? Copyright and trademark laws i suppose. Later kena sue by A&W. No offense to A&W lovers, A&W sucks (except the rootbeer) and i seldom patronise A&W outlets, which is why i don't encounter curly fries often. Sighs. Curly fries... Oh.. Curly fries.. Curly friessss!!

Anyway am currently feeling kinda hungry which explains this food related post. Next one will be about food as well. Have got some interesting items to display. =)

Blogger

Oh dear. I just realized how unsociable i can get! When i was at the Blogger party i didn't really mingle. I tried walking around but people seem to be

i) mingling
ii) cam-whoring
iii) eating / drinking
iv) any combination of above options

and i was standing there feeling absolutely foolish. How do people successfully glide from 1 conversation to another, effortlessly making small talk, smiling and snapping pictures... I just cannot comprehend.

Reminds me of Bridget Jones's Diary when Bridget arrived at a party and didn't know anyone. She was supposed to run around yelling people's names with much required tone and gaiety. Which was what i was supposed to have done. Mental note: improve mingling skills.

***
Voila! My poster thingy for my booth. Took lots of time to fix it. Phew. And i owe mum lots for helping out.

Lots of feathers! =)

***
I'm kinda annoyed and regretful for not taking loads of pictures like any sensible blogger during the blogger party. I wanted to bring sis's Cybershot but she left it at Thur's. So i had to use mum's camera which wasn't really clear. Praps it's time to invest in a new camera? Will load those that i have soon.

Meanwhile, the awards during the party

Nuffnang's Most Promising Blogger award went to Doink-Just Me.

The iTalk Buddy creative write-up contest grand prize got snagged by Joshuatly. A PSP and special edition 4-eared-mascot soft toy. Sexy!

Runners up were curryegg and Mr and Mrs Imran. White PS2. And a thin one. Sighs. My ps2 is one of those huge chunky first edition ones.

Traffic Jam's most popular blog (most votes!) was this girl called Selene or something. They didn't announce her blog name but from what i gathered she was responsible for the voting booth at Traffic Jam. =)

So congrats to them for their hard work.

Though i didn't win anything, i got a goodie bag for participating. Heh! It contained:

Woolala! A cute four-eared-mascot soft toy. Pink as well! Now ain't it cute?

An iTalk buddy t-shirt, on which the four-eared-mascot makes yet another appearance.

A small container of.. breathmints. With iTalk printed on it. Pink again. =)

Got these books from Novel House and the second hand bookstore in Chowrasta Market, Penang Road.

I guess i'll only get to read them during the Chinese New Year break because I've just got a few old Kiyosaki's books from Bryan.

Youth '08 Traffic Jam | iTalk Buddy

Just recently i signed up in a just-for-fun manner for the the Youth '08 Traffic Jam event.

I was kinda surprised (surprises are fun!), when i checked my email today, to see that i have been selected as one of the 100 bloggers to be featured in the Youth '08: Malaysia's Youth Lifestyle Showcase from the 18th-20th January.

Arghh!! So fellers. Come and vote for me! I will be allocated a computer which i will have to decorate to be eye-catching and attract lots and lots of ppl like a flame that attracts moths.

18-20 Jan 2008 at Putra World Trade Centre. =) That's where i'll be.

***
The main sponsor of the Youth '08 event is iTalk Buddy, a service by iTalk which is some sorta instant messenger. I am given a RM30 iTalk card which can be used with the iTalk buddy.

Virulently pink. It even has this quadruple-eared (only 2 ears shown here) mascot. Now i wonder what sorta creature it is. It looks sorta panda-ish, with the dark (pink) circles around its eyes, but its ears look more like a rabbit's. Panbit? XD

Here is the messenger, which is pink as well. I guess it should appeal to pink-crazed girls who cannot live without pink. "omg! pink messenger! i love!"

Apart from the standard instant-message-sending and file-sharing applications, the iTalk buddy has a few funtastic features. For instance, you can send SMS from your computer to friends' handphones as well as make calls from PC to Mobile. Could come in handy. =)

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the iTalk Buddy is that it can be used without an internet connection. From what i gathered after reading the FAQs, it is called an Offline Environment in which you are not connected to the internet but have access to WiFi or LAN. This slightly removes the dependency on the Internet, but still, life without the internet is miserable!

iTalk Buddy is also linked to mojikan.com which offers yet another instant messenger as well as an online pet service (the quadruple eared mascots). Using an iTalk card, one is able to purchase stuff for the pets.

***
I would probably use the thirty bucks to call my friends who are overseas, or my aunts and granny who are in Taiwan. And i could do it using a phone, or the PC to mobile.

PC to mobile seems fun!

I like! Especially when i am always glued to my com and lazy to venture out of my room to pick up the phone. This should be just the thing.

Observe the little cash icon at the top right. That's where i get to load in my iTalk card.

And after that, i called my house (number deleted, obviously) for a little test run.

7 cents in 23 seconds! Fun! Mum picked up and asked me to quit wasting money on useless phonecalls @_@.

Now about mojikan. This is where i can rear a four-eared pet.

My... How colourful they are. Now, the 2nd on the left looks like a panda!

The pets can apparently turn hostile if you neglect them. It's so typical for these tamagochi-esque virtual pets to have mood swings. I still remember playing with my digimon device when i was young, and if u treat it badly it'll go PMS on you and mutate into some sucky digimon.

So not wanting my little pet to go upset, i bought a flowery red frisbee for it for MK$125 (i start with a default amount of $300 in my "bank".

What i didn't realize was that i, unfortunately enough, did not even have a pet yet! And, most frustratingly enough, i couldn't figure out how to get meself a pet. Still need a little practice, no? :D I could possibly use some of the iTalk card credit to get my pet a funky blue hat i saw whilst window (browser window, that is) shopping. It says that buying different types of accessories will make my pet happy.

So that wraps up my experience in using the iTalk Buddy. I still have to get used to the functions, but i believe i'll get used to it sooner or later.

For more info, and to download the iTalk Buddy, go to their website!

Pics

Nothing much to blog about, so some random pics.

This is what festive seasons bring: traffic congestion. I snapped this from the gym around Christmas. The row of treadmills is right above the road leading to and from 1 Utama. How did i manage to get into 1 Utama? I parked across the street (somewhere beyond the top left corner of the picture where the cars are turning right) and walked over.

Ball of cheese parents brought back from Europe. Holland if am not mistaken. Fantastic cheese, filled with peppercorn. And i like peppercorn. It did, however, stink quite a bit when they unwrapped it from a paper bag.

Missy Elliot - Ching-A-Ling

I was chatting with The Hubby in MSN when I noticed his play list playing Missy Elliot's Ching-A-Ling.

And then it hit upon me that the title of the song resembles my name...

Huwaaah! Imagine Missy Elliot - Cheong-Ai-Ling

*dreamy eyes*
