she rock my world last nite :)
we go to pyramid last nite. and seyesly it was a very long and tiring nite.
we go thru a minor accident at da basement. i was dayamn fuggin shocked at dat time and could not move until a group of guy came closer and one of them offered to move the car at a safer place. we are searching for water at da parking lot but there was none so all we have is the brylcream gel. i need to wipe da scratch to see how bad the scratch are. Its quite bad and scratch at both side make it worsen even polish does not help. i planned to tell mom once we got home but then i cant stop thinking bout the car, so i called her straight away and thank god mum is okay with it as long as nobody hurt. wait for ayah reaction after he came back from switzerland nxt week *grrr
after dat dramatic accident we proceed inside the pyramid to the movie. The main reason why we are there last nite. we bought 2 midnight ticket for Quarantine. The show will started at 11.20pm. And will only finished around 1.00 am sumting. That means i dont have to see the same faces again, the audience of our embarassing event just now. SMART ME. we go shop then having dinner at Bidara. After dinner, proceed to movie. JENG JENG JENG. Quarantine! the best movie crowd i have ever been with. we screamed, we shivering, we sweat, we sigh, we EVERYTHING! its just an awesome feeling. its 1.30am and we are rushing to get a hell out from the pyramid because everythin seems soo cold & creepy... geessshhh
FAREWELL. sending nani to klia just now. she is going back to her hometown, Labuan. See u next sem Hun!

A1GP
It was hertbreaking for Fairuz Fauzy, Team Malaysia and the local fans when a miscommunication claimed 3rd place from them. Fairuz went into the pit thinking that he needs a pitstop. But to his horror, none of the mechanics are ready for him. He went out from the pit without any chances made to his car and lost a lap from the leader.
During the press conference, Fairuz said, “I heard ‘box, box’ in my radio. When I ask for confirmation, there’s none. After a while I heard the confirmation. That’s why I came in.”
However, Fairuz did a magnificent job in the final stages of the race and claimed 10th placing for a point in the championship. Team Malaysia are now 5th in the championship with a total of 29 points. Somehow congrats to fairuz because i think he has doing he's very best for malaysia

Taipei - Random #5
My grandma's apartment is at 成功国宅, which is a cluster of apartment buildings. And it has CCTVs all over. Caught some pretty fun CCTV images pasted on the wall outside one of those neighbourhood newspaper/stationery shops.
Zoom in and you'll see these:
A guy walking off with a copy of newspaper. "Stealing Newspapers".
Some naughty kid crashed a flowerpot while cycling around.
Dog. Peeing on flowerpot. LoL!
Must be quite a disgruntled shopkeeper, with quite a few flower pots lying around. Notice hung on yet another flower pot says "Stealing newspapers is illegal".
Damn freaky la, with the feeling of being watched. What's worse, the CCTVs in the elevators in grandma's apartment are directly broadcast to a TV in the lobby. Makes you think twice before making narcissistic poses in the elevator mirror.
Now this is quite an interesting one, posted by a street vendor in the city. "Thief: Stolen 4 times in 30 days. Please don't come again". While i was snapping this picture the vendor saw me and said he was pissed off with the thief. I like the way he phrased it. Please don't come again. Humorous.
Congratulations!
I miss you already Lyn! Faster come back to work. What?! No need to work ah? :P

Taipei
This is the map of the Taipei Metro. Compared to our own LRT, the Taipei Metro is a blessing. It has tremendous range, and is extremely organized. All the different coloured lines represent a separate line of trains, but they're all linked and integrated.
My grandma stays a 3-5 minute walking distance from the Technology Building (brown line). So if i want to travel to Dan Shui (end of red line), all i have to do is to go to change trains once at blue line, and once more to the red. I managed to go to Shi Lin night market alone after being on the Taipei Metro once.
Best part is that you don't have to buy tickets three times. One ticket alone will allow transit to any line, with the excess fee paid when you exit your desired station. Pretty efficient. When i take Malaysian public transportation to Bukit Bintang, i have to take Putra LRT to KL central, walk over to monorail to buy another ticket. -_-"
The public buses in Taipei are excellent too. Each bus number has its own number and has its route displayed on bus stops. A bus ride costs NTD15, which around RM1.50. Around the city there are several bus-exclusive lanes that link bus stops and this helps buses to move around quickly.
Yeah so Taipei's public transportation is excellent. They even have this EasyCard (similar to Touch n Go) that gives a 20% discount on MRT rides, and a NTD8 reduction on bus rides IF you hop onto a bus within an hour after taking the MRT. V. ganas.
However, during my trip, i travelled around mostly in cabs. 0_0! Damn ironic, i know. But my grandma is extremely extremely slow (she takes half steps by half steps), and taking buses and MRT often involves quite long walks. So... not that good. The solution? Cabs.
Cabs in Taipei are very very well maintained. The city is littered with shiny yellow cabs, mostly Camrys and Altises. I think you can see a Altis in the picture above. The cab in the picture is from Da Ai (大爱)and all cabs from that cab company has lillies in them. :D Fascinating, right? They also keep track of cab orders to determine and reward frequent customers. Both my aunts have a 10% discount from Da Ai.
Even with the discount, traveling in taxis is comparatively much more expensive. Once you hop in, the meter starts at NTD70 (approx RM7-8, depends on exchange rate xD), and jumps NTD5 (RM0.5) each time. The average taxi ride costs around NTD200 and two way will set us back by nearly RM40. V. expensive.

Transportation? More stuff to come.
