Disappointment

Yes. Disappointment was what i felt when i saw my "pizza" arrive at my table. I went to the Curve again and after much wandering around on The Street, i settled in this classy little italian cafe-restaurant called the La Gourmet House, which serves quite a nice delicious stew. But i was dismayed to find out that they no longer serve their grandma stew. So while waiting for Cow, who was stuck in jam in LDP Snailway, me and Nico decided to order a pizza. And this item caught our attention.

10. Folded Mediterranean and Makarash Pizza
Flavourings are folded into the pizza dough instead of being placed on top. It's surprising and delicious!

Something like that la. And i was so captivated by the cosy jazzy ambience of the restaurant and the description of the pizza (surprising!) so i ordered it. When it arrived i saw this 4 slices of double crusted pizza, with flavourings inside. And their flavourings turned out to be tomatoes, carrot strips, black olives, some wrinkly mushroom, and raisins. Oh my goodness. It was rather sour, yet tasteless. V.v. bad. Their pizza crusts were wonderfully crispy, i admit, but the rest was just horrible. Vege Pizza! Man! Nico was saying, "eh. There's no meat inside here leh.."
No meat!! What kinda pizza has no meat? It's not ethical. We're purely carnivorous, man. "We should go report to the persatuan pengguna!"

We were supposed to order other stuff when Cow arrived but the pizza turned us off so we paid up and scarpered. Oh. La Gourmet House actually serves very delicious food. Their bruschetta are heavenly. Just.. Don't order the wrapped pizzone thing. Bleargh.

So anyway, we shifted to Italiannies to further continue our foodscapade. We shared this Chicken Arrabiatto thingy which was rather grotesque. It was like those tomato based spaghetti, except that there were four enormous pieces of fried breaded chicken on top. Apart from chicken, the rest of the spaghetti sucked. The sauce was just too sour >.<.. And once again, Italiannies serves very delicious food. Their salmon fettucinne is heavenly. Just... Don't order the Chicken Arrabiatto thing. Bleargh.
