Cow, Brown Bear, Xtine, Dinghy, Nico and I traipsed over to Vid Malley today to meet Miss Moon. I am a tad indignant as I've previously asked for a meet up with the former 5, and their schedules seemed to magically clash. Now they can miraculously get together for the madame.. sigh, such injustice.
We saw Angelina Jolie (womb / vagina of the world)'s The Tourist and... barf! That's all it deserves. OK and maybe some mention of the beautiful scenery.
Next stop was some dessert sampling at Delicious.
Dessert at Delicious is fantastic. I hate that i'm attracted to its dessert display cooler, peering at it like a kid at a candy store.
We shared:
- Apple Blackberry Crumble
- Walnut Brownie with Chocolate Sauce
- Scones with Clotted Cream and fruit preserve
- Macadamia Cheesecake with caramel and macadamia brittle
The first two came a la mode and were excellent as uzh, especially the brownie, oh my...
Scones sucked bad as they replaced their fluffy cream with packaged clotted cream (y'know like the foil-sealed individual-packed butter used by airlines?) that has lost its molecular integrity during the course of shipment and resembled yellow crumbly butter all stuck to the bottom of the container. Nasty..
Macadamia cheesecake certainly looked magnificent as i was goggling at it once i came in. Macadamia brittle!! Divine. I love nuts, and nut brittle. But the cheesecake base had a slightly salty tinge that i didn't like.
Oh and the manager was kind enough to serve us a basket of complimentary fries with some sorta creamy dip. Delicious indeed. :)
